7 peaks

A few weeks ago Trisha tony Ellie, Pete, Syd the twins, my mom Zan, and Zach came for a weekend of visits and fun! When they got here we decided to go to the mall and do some school shopping.  I miss the school shopping and being able to get tons of new outfits, school supplies and all that fun stuff.  I just watched mom laugh at the kids as they tried stuff on for hours!  That night Uncle Chad built us a fire and we all roasted ‘mellows’ as Ellie calls them! They were messy but lots of fun!  I was pretty sad out that I had school the next day but was very excited to have an afternoon of fun with the family at 7 peaks!  We all had tons of fun!  It was so nice for everyone to come out and just laugh and have loads of fun!!

one great week

After school on Thursday I went home we packed the car up and Traci, the kids and I loaded up the car and headed for a trip to IDAHO!!! We were all excited! I was excited to see my grandma and grandpa and MY FAMILY!! Zach and Zan were on the ward treck so I wasn’t able to see them tell Saturday and boy did I miss them!

Friday night I went and did something that I LOVE to do! Tiffany’s mom is on the fair board in Shoshone so I took Taylor Kidd and Hallee to the rodeo and I was able to see Tiffany! My friend Coober rode in the rodeo on Friday night so it was a great night!  When we got there we went and visited with Tiffany then headed to watch the rodeo! Tiffs sister, her kids, and mom and dad were all there so we it was night of laughs for all of us.  I was sitting there watching the rodeo and I got a text from Coober! He was there and could see me, but for the life of me I couldn’t see him. I finally spotted him and was very excited to see him ride and was hoping to see him after!
Tiff, Tay, Hall and I headed to grab something to eat real fast and this kid came behind Tay and started talking to her.  He did his pick up line and said; well it’s always a compliment to a cowboy when they’re walking with a cute girl! Do you want be my cute girl and walk with me to get an elephant ear?” Well away they went and our task to find Tay a cute cowboy was a SUCCESS! His name was blue and well they got each others # and she got her cowboy!   We ate and headed back to finish watching the rodeo! The rodeo was over and slack was FINALLY starting!  I have no idea what is wrong with me but whenever I go and watch a friend I start getting nervous before they go, so of course before Coober went I was VERY nervous!  Well he went and I kind of cheered loud...very loud! HaJ  well sadly I wasn’t able to see Coober after the rodeo, he text me and said he was at flying J, so we got in the car and we were off. We didn’t make it in time to see him so… we were off again! Hal Tay and I had some great laughs on the ride home! Let’s just say…I only speed when there are CUTE cowboys to catch up to, CUTE cowboys to wave at, CUTE cowboys to honk at when you take the exit and you drive past them, then they speed up to honk back! Fun night last night at the rodeo with Tiffany Dansie Taylor Kidd and Hallee Hitt but a grand time on the way back in my car with Hall and Tay! hahaha:) got to love those CUTE cowboys:) love you all!  We all had so much fun and I can’t wait to do it all over again!
Then Saturday finally came! My mom usually goes to Albion about this time of the year to feed a group of people who graduated from the Albion college.  I usually go and help her! We set up all the food they eat, we talk to all the people there, load up the car, and back home again! Well this year it was up to me! HOLD ON!! ME? Everyone is at the treck with our ward so the workers are my mom, Kris, and Lindsay so it was my turn to take what my mom has thought me the past years and feed the people on my own. My grandma, Traci, Trisha  came to help me so I was glad to have help! We got up early that morning and helped my mom, we loaded up the truck and headed up there! It was nice to know that I can do this on my own if my mom ever needs help… I hope it doesn’t happen often because I might freak but I did good!
That night I was able to go to Almo and see Lavelle and Nichole Erickson and their family! They have done so much for me so it was very nice to go see them! They wanted to go swimming I was all for it until Sid got on facebook and saw that my sister was home! I sure did miss Zach and Zan so I was off for home.  Zach and Zan had an AMAZING time on the treck! So a HUGE thanks to those who put it on! When I got out of my car I got a HUGE Hug from Zach! Yep he’s changed and I sure do LOVE those two!  So it was a great week at home!

Tiff and I went to school with this kid so we cheered pretty loud...

a venting thought....

Its funny how after something happens you start thinking.  Something happened and I have been dreading it for a very long time.  After this happened I look back and laugh and look where I’m at now and smile because I’m better off at what happened then what could have happened.  I hear things from the past or things that happened a few weeks ago and just laugh and ask myself why me? Then I ask why not me?  The stories I hear make me mad and want to ask why? Why would you or how could you? After a small tear, I laugh and move on!  Sometimes I wish that I would have never got into all this mess then I realize I wouldn’t have changed it for the world! I learned a lot from all this some things for the good others for the bad. I made some great memories through all this and some even better friends! You made me change, change for myself, change for the good.  I just have to say all this only makes me stronger! Then I think well, not my loss! I am so glad that I have been moving on!  There has been a few rocks along the way.  There were nights that I just lay there and bawl and want to give up, times that I want to go back, and then I realize the future will be a whole lot better. A new person to make my world and make me smile! A person who makes me feel like their #1! I just have to say…  Thanks so much to that one for making me realize and all my friends and family who have helped!  Love you all so much!

Happy bday

Today is my aunt Traci’s birthday so I thought I would give her a shout out! My aunt Traci is one heck of an AMAZING lady! I don’t know many people that would take people into their house to live! She has taken people in whenever they need a place to stay for a day, week, and months! Right now she doesn’t only have me living with her but for 2 more weeks she has my uncle tony and Nate too! I think I would have ripped my hair more than once by now if I was her lol!
My aunt Traci and I are very close! Going through college whenever I had a bad day and it turned into a bad night I would text her and we would just sit and talk about my lovely day! We have had tons of chats at 2 am and I love her for that!  I remember one night I was having a hard night it was probably midnight I called her, sure enough she was up and we talked!
My aunt Traci is one AMAZING mom too! Her kids are soccer, baseball, and a soon to be dance freaks!! This means every week she has at least one game a week and if she is luck there might just be one every night! She loves when that happens! As a family we load up the car and cheer for ever who is playing that night! This summer we have got tons of sun…her more than me! (Brat) I try to beat her each time that I’m outside! She laughs and just says kallie just face it, I’m darker then you!
I can’t believe I have moved to Utah and I live with her and her family! So far I love it! I am so lucky that she took me in and has let me live with her as I try and teach my goal! I have no idea what I would do without her!
Reasons why I love Trac…
1.)    I’m her favorite
2.)   She is sometimes patient
3.)   She always makes me laugh
4.)   We love to have dance parties
5.)   I’m her favorite
6.)   We try to fist pump together
7.)    She is a great cook
8.)   She always makes me smile
9.)   She helps me out whenever I can
10.)                        She has been in my shoes before
11.) I’m her favorite
12.)She doesn’t judge me
13.)She believes in me
14.)She is fun
15.)I’m her favorite
16.)                        She’s an amazing mom, sister, wife, friend, and aunt

Trac~
Thank you so much for always being there for me when I have really needed you! I have no idea what I would do without you! You seem to always know what to say and always willing to help me out in everything and anything!  Thanks s much for believing me and helping me reach my goals! Thanks so much for letting me move in but most of all… thanks for being my friend, my sister, and my aunt!! I sure do love you so much!

you know who you are....

A few days ago I had a friend ask me what I was doing well at that time I was facebooking… they replied with OF COURSE!  I said well I could blog but I’m addicted to that, and then I would end up being late! They asked what a blog was I told them it’s just where I write about different things that happen in my life. They asked if they could look at it the next time I post something! So before I give this person my blog I wanted to write something for them….   Without this friend I could honestly say I HAVE NO IDEA where I would be in life! This friend isn’t someone I grew up with or called every day after school! This friend I met a year or so ago and we have become pretty close!
I called this person when I found out that my aunt was diagnosed with cancer! I found out and bawled, I was sad and asked why my aunt Beck? This person knows my aunt and told me Kallie she will get through with this so will all your family! Beck is one heck of a strong person…and that she is! Beck tough me to have FAITH and COURADGE! She also taught me that our heavenly father gives us trials but only ones that we can handle!  Thanks so much for being there for me through this!
During my first year of college I had a few rough times. There was a time that I had a really rough time …this called for a taco bell trip at 2 am and a sleepover with my girls! Heading to Tiffs I called this person and BAWLED like I haven’t bawled before! This person just sat there and listened to me with one question...why didn’t you tell me and I could have warned you about this? That was the only question they asked and then they just went back to listening to me and let me cry! I think we probably talked on the phone for like oh maybe 3 hours talking about each others life and the lovely crap that was going on in them!  Thanks for letting me cry to you for hours on the phone and try to get me to laugh!

I absolutely HATE tests! Every time I had a test at school and this person new it they got me to be positive and say hey, Chin up you will do great! Think positive and don’t forget to smileJ  Thanks for helping me stay positive!

This person is AMAZING at a sport… so as often as I could I traveled to go watch and cheer them on! I looked like a freak but hey we had fun doing it! They made it to state so I loaded up the car and headed to go watch! I felt HORRIBLE that I wasn’t able to be there the first few times, I got a text every night with the final result, and score the day that I did make it, it was a lot of fun! We cheered as our little hearts could! That day they didn’t do as good as they hoped but I was really glad that I could be there to support this person just like they are ALWAYS there for me!  Thanks a million for always being there for me!

A few weeks ago this person really stepped in! I broke up with Nate and it was the HARDEST week I’ve had for a while! I bawled every night and memories would come back of all the fun times that we had together and all the times that Nate teased me! I sure do love the Poulton family so it was a hard situation! This friend knew I was having a hard time so they text me every chance they could to make sure I was okay! They told me that I would get through it and it would all turn out! One morning my phone rand at 4 in the am and it was a text that said well I’m off … I hate driving this early but hey… Have a GREAT day! Some people would go back to sleep, others would chuck their phone and some may text back and reply, “ Do you know what time it is?” ha I didn’t I text back and said hey thanks! Have fun and do your best!! This person would text me every day and make sure I was doing okay because they knew I was having a pretty rough time! Thanks so much!

Last week after my meeting with Provo college I text this person and said, “What in the world am I thinking?” “I can’t do this!” They replied and said, “Kallie, this is your dream, and you CAN DO THIS!!”  I have no idea what I would do without this person especially the day before! I cried with confusion and stress! They just talked to me and said it will all be okay! Sure enough it was! They have text me everyday this first week of school and would say... Have a great day! Or hey how was school today? Well just one thing…you better be at my graduation!

Dear friend… (You know who you are)
I am honest when I say I really have NO IDEA what I would do without you! You have been there for me when I thought the world was walking out on me! You were there for me when I kind of walked out on you! (I still am sorry and regrget it) You have been there for me through all the easy times and all of the VERY EXTREAMLY HARD times where all I wanted to do was go hide and cry! Even if I was a simple text of Hey or you’re a brat each time it made me smile and sometimes laugh! I think so much of you! Thanks so much for letting me cry to you all the time! Thanks for believing in me when I sure the heck didn’t! Thanks so much for everything that you do for me! I will NEVER be able to tell you how much I am thankful for everything and that we are friends! All I can say is THANKS A MILLION!!
Thanks
Kallie

FISH

Last week I had a meeting for school that I had to go to! All the new students had a tour of the campus and got all of our books!  Let me tell you, you get a work out carring all the books around ha!  Willes and Taylor came with me and we decided to go to the mall and shop! To our surprise the mall was not good for shopping so Toy and I had a grand idea to go to Pet Smart to buy a friend for Chad! We got a Bata fish and so far Tay has named it…. FISH!   Chad wanted to name is Dory, Nemo, sushi, or fish & chips but… FISH it was! We love this little friend because all it does it swim!  The other day tobbi and I decided to clean the bowl! a dream

I can’t believe that summer has pretty much come and gone for me!  After months of contemplating where to go to school and when to start and talking to my family numerous of times (my mom probably got like 5 calls a day) I finally decided to start next Monday at Provo college!  I thought I would never be able to do this but ready or not here I go! My mom came down about the first of June and her Traci and I went and met with one of the advisors and the financial aid advisor too! (Parents save $$$ now for your kids to go to school) They wanted me to start in July but I had no idea if I was going to be ready by then so I said September.  A few days later they called and asked if I would please think about starting in July….well…I’m starting in July!!! The end of June I met with the dental assisting advisor and walked through all the steps to be ready before I walk through the doors and start my new career!  I had to get caught up on all my shots, get me some new white shoes, some tall socks, and white shirts! Well it’s all done and I am ready! On Friday I go back to the school for an orientation to get my books, learn about each of my classes, get my id, and my scrubs! I think when I get that it will sink in that this is it, this is the road to my new journey to succeed my childhood dream.   At Provo College if all goes as planned I will graduate May of 2012 and get a degree in dental assisting!! (Crossing my fingers)

My first meeting with Provo college they asked, “why dental assisting?’ Well to tell you the truth I have wanted to be a dental assistant ever since 4th grade!  My answer was always I want to follow my aunt Trish and become a dental assistant then I decided I needed to make more $$$ so hopefully if all works out and goes as planned I will work as a assistant for a year and take a few online classes then finish my degree and go into dental hygienist!

I have too say thanks so much to all my family for helping though this journey of deciding when and where! I couldn’t do it without you guys! Love you all sooo much, and I better be seeing your smiley, teary eyed faces at my graduation next may!!
