The cowboy came to see me!

Tonight the cowboy came to see me!! Tonight Nate came over to see me since I haven’t seen him for a whole long week! (Yes I know what am I going to do when I move to Utah and he goes on his mission? Answer: Cry) Anyhow Nate came over to see me and took me out to dinner at Café Rio! One of my top five favorite places to eat.  I was very excited!   Then when we got back to the house he got his roping dummy out of his truck and him, Justin, tiff and tiff’s brother roped the dummy for awhile, while I took pictures.  I am not a roper at all so Tay and I watched and tried to take a few pictures before the sun went down!  It was just a great night to rope, and have fun as friends!  I keep telling Nate this but…. I sure do like him!! I have no idea what I would do without him. Especially now! He spoils me rotten and I sometimes feel bad!  I sure do love night like tonight where he just comes over takes me to dinner and we do crazy things like rope the dummy!  I never have a dull moment with Nate.  He is always making me laugh and always gets me to smile. I try to be mad at him for like 5 minutes, but I just can’t do it for the life of me!  The kid sure knows how to put one heck of a white priceless smile on my face!!!  Thanks Nate! Once again I sure do like you!

it's his game and it's his life

Ever since my brother could walk he had a passion for golf, it’s his game, and it’s his life.  .He had a club in his hand whenever he could. His clubs became his prize position in life. He got his first “REAL” set of clubs at the age of four, this is when his future started.   He would go to the course with our mom and dad whenever he got the chance.  He became better and better at each swing, birdie, par, bogie, and eagle.  Then he became so good that he started beating my mom and when he was lucky he would beat my dad!  My dad has taken him golfing when he was younger and still to this day.  My dad will help him improve as much as he can to improve his game in any way possible. 

In the summer my dad and Zach are usually golfing in tournaments when we aren’t farming.  They are pretty good golfers that they usually win some kind of prize.  (Some being a chicken statue, which is now our center piece at our dinner table)  Through the game of golf these two have become inseparable, and attached at the hip!

Last year Zach made it to state as a freshman and again this year as a sophomore!  No matter the weather, rain or snow he played with all his heart and did the best that he possibly could!  He had a few rough games but new that he did his best, and his best was what counted!  Zach is such a great golfer and he hopes to continue his game and take it all the way to college.

Zach~ CONGRATS!! On making it to state this year and getting 9^th!! We are so proud of you!  I sure do look up to you and am pretty jealous that I can’t play a game of golf like you let alone hit the ball off the tea!  Thanks for everything that you have done for me throughout my life!! I have no idea what I would do without you!  Thanks for being the great example that you are!

but happy moms day to the best!....MY MOM!!!

Holy cow! Where do I start? My mom has been my rock for 19 years through everything that has happened to me in life.  I have no idea what I would do without her.  She was always there for me growing u through high school and now that I am going to college she is still there for me but even more than ever.  There are days that I call her like 5 times a day just to say hi! My mom has been there for me through sooo many tears, laughs and memories.  My mom hasn’t only been there for me but she has been there anyone possible.  She has owned the steakhouse for six years and loves ever moment of it.  She loves to be involved and help out the school with their dinners, and see everyone everyday!  My mom is one of the hardest workers around.  I hope that one day I can be half the mom that my mom is too me.  Whenever I am having a bad day I can always count on my mom to make it better! She always makes a bad situation into a good one!  My mom is always there to support my siblings and I in all that our games that we have home or away she was there to cheer us on.  You can hear her out in the hall, to some students they wouldn’t like it but to us, it helps us perform better in our game.  Knowing she is there is the best feeling of the night!  During high schools she made our special nights even better. When we had dances she would volunteer to have it in the back room of the steakhouse and decorate for a night to remember!

Here are only a few reasons why I love my mom…

1.)      She is ALWAYS there for me

4.)     She always tells me to reach for my dreams

5.)      She makes me laugh all the time

6.)      She helps anyone in any way she can

12.)  She is my shoulder to cry on

13.)   Even as a mom she gets butterflies when I tell her my secrets

14.)  She always tells me that she loves me

15.)  She is the Hardest worker I have met

16.)  No is NOT in her VOCABULARY

17.)   She put more than 100% in what she does

18.)  She never quits a job

19.)  She is my friend, hero, sister, fan, example and best of my entire mom!

I sure do love you more than anything in the world!  Thanks so much for being there by my side for 19 years in everything that I have done no matter the circumstance or the outcome.  Thanks for being my rock and telling me that anything and everything is possible if I just put my mind to it! I have no idea what I would ever do without you, or a phone to call you 10 times a day!  I hope that one day I will be at least half the women, example, wife and mom that you are today! Thanks for believing in me every day of my life! Love you more than anything in the world!

Yesterday one of m good friends got baptized! It was one really neat experience.  She asked me to say a few words with my testimony and I was BEYOND NERVOUS, but I did it!  A few months ago tiff asked me to start going to church with her, she wanted to start taking the missionary discussions and get baptized! She did just that! I am so proud of her and the choice that she made to get baptized!    she got to spend it with so many friends and family that love her!

Today it kinda hit me

Days like today I realize how lucky I am!  After a fun weekend of being home with the family I came back to Twin and took a nap because I was very exhausted! I have been having quit the dreams lately and today I had a dream that hit me!  Nate leaves soon for his mission! He has been called to Canada. Don’t ask me where, because I really can’t remember I always forget.  But I am more than excited for him!  This will be one of the best things!  He will get so many answers!  I can’t wait tell I receive the first letter! I already know that I will cry when I receive it, I told my aunt that he better write like 3 times a month. She said aaa kallie you have to write him to! I feel bad for him because I am not a writer at all! But since I like him that much I will be sure to write him tons!

Anyhow back to my story I had a dream that Nate leaves at the end of this week it sure did hit me I woke up crying! I cried like for twenty minutes straight! I am the BIGGEST baby there is!  I know this will be one of the most amazing things that will happen! Right now it’s hard to think that he leaves soon and will be gone for two years! WoW! Knowing that he will be serving the lord will make it all worth it

Nate and I have been dating for about a month and he already SPOILES me ROTTEN!!

Only a few Reasons why I like the kid….

1.)   He drives to twin like twice a week to see me

2.)   My family LOVES him

3.)   He loves my family

4.)   Zach and Zan like when he comes over to hang out and ask every weekend if he’s coming to visit

5.)   Dinner at my house with us 3 kids + him = a dinner full of laughs

6.)   I LOVE his family

7.)   He ALWAYS puts a PRICLESS smile on my face!

8.)   He surprises me with some great adventures that I have never done before…like fishing!

9.)   He is my ROCK!

10.)  He makes me laugh

11.)  He is fun to be with

12.) And when we go to kiwi loco he’s like a kid in a candy store!

13.) He spoils me

14.) And I sure do like the kid!

Thanks for everything that you have done for me! I sure do appreciate EVERYTHING that you have done for me!  You always know how to put a smile on my face and make me laugh!
