Skallie Jo: the tradition still lives on...

On Thursday I had to work tell five, but after I got off I got on the road, set the cruise and went and picked up Traci and Trev then we all went home to malta for the good ol’ fair! That’s one tradition that I look forward to every year! I remember when I was little and my mom took us all to the carnival when it was buddy day. We were all able to invite a friend and have a fun day at the carnival! I remember going to the parade and watching all the floats go by. During my junior and high school career I was in the parade as a cheerleader it was fun to get all dolled up and dance in the parade then have to hurry back to the fair grounds and get ready to show my sheep. Participating in the fair was always so much fun! I have to say I miss it all so much! What I would do to be a kid again haJ

Well this week while Traci, Trev and I were there we spent lots of time with the family which was very much needed! On Friday we watched Syd and the twins show their steers they did very good! After they showed Syd, Zan, the twins, hob along wasey, Trev, Kel, Jace, and I loaded up in the truck and went to Taco B for some great food! We had to have some good Taco B before we pigged out on all the yummy fair food! Last year Hallee won the title of Cassia County Princess! So she had to retire her crown on Thursday night! The whole family went to cheer for her as she took her last buzz around the arena! We love her so much and are all very proud of her. Syd, Coy, Sid, Derek, Sam, the twins, trev, and I all held up signs letting her know we are her BIGGEST fans! Friday night I stayed with Miss Molly moo! I love that girl! Saturday Miss Molly and I went to the races to watch Dallas then it was another round of the rodeo that night! I have to say…. The tradition of the fair still lives on!
