A weekend of fun

Last weekend was a lot of fun! I left for Malta after work and went straight to Burley to see Nate because he said he had a surprise for me! A surprise for sure it was!.... He and his family got be some AMAZINGLY CUTE flowers and the movie Tangled! It sure made my day! I loved the flowers I told him that I would dry them and hang them on my wall so I will have them forever, he says they have to be cuter ones for that, I disagree! They were BEYOND BEATUIFUL!   I told him that Tangled was one of my favorites so I was going to go buy it so we could watch it. Well they beat me to it and got it for me for Easter! I love it and made him sit and watch it with me on Sunday!  I think he kind of spoils me! Then after that I went to the steakhouse to make some cupcakes for Trisha’s b-day!  I was able to spend Friday night with friends and family at my aunt Trisha’s Maurice’s party! It was fun to try on everything that we could, laugh, and make a night full of memories while we all shop and spend all the money that we could!

Friday night was also Zach’s prom!  Of course he took little miss Chloe!  I went to see him before he left and man did he look sharp and made me feel old.  My mom and Trish made the night special for the both of them.  They decorated the back room for their dinner before the dance with lights it was really cute! They always make sure to make our dances special for us!  Zach and Chloe looked way cute! I was hoping to make it to promenade to watch them but Zach threatened me with my life.  He said that I couldn’t go no matter what! So I didn’t go I just looked at the pictures after!  I am glad that they had fun1 they are such a cute couple! I sure do love them both!

Saturday afternoon I went to Nate’s for a day full of fun!  I got to meet his sisters, a couple of cousins, and aunt!  They are all really nice! We colored Easter eggs (his mom had us do a dozen each) His mom made some yummy goodies! Jell-O eggs, sugar cookies, no bakes, and rice krispies! They were all delicious! After the decorating we loaded up in the cars and headed to Burley to hit a couple of craft stores.  That night we went to a movie with his family!  The day was a lot of fun!  I sure do love his family! They are a lot of fun and we have great laughs!  I can’t wait tell the next time I get to spend the day with them!

Sunday afternoon we went to Grandma Hitts for the annual Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt! This year Traci came out and so did my grandma’s brothers, sisters and their kids so there were a lot of people but it was fun to see everyone! We ate hamburgers and hot dogs and visited for awhile after visiting the older kids went up to Grandma Holtmans house to hide the eggs so the younger kids could have the Easter egg hunt! This Easter was a lot of fun to see everyone!

The friend, the sister the aunt...HAPPY BDAY!!

Growing up I have had amazing friends and family that have always been there for me whenever I needed them! I have two AMAZING aunts that are like the older sisters that I have never had.  Trisha and Traci have spoiled me rotten ever since I was born and I love them so much! They are truly my idols in life!   Today is Trisha’s birthday so I thought I would do a shout out to her for het b-day! 

I have no idea what I would do without you Trish you have always been the big sister that I have never had and still the amazing aunt that I truly love!  Whenever I need to talk you are always there no matter what time it is and what it is about.  Rather it’s about school, friends, or heck even boys you are always there to talk to and to shed a tear with!  You always have the greatest advice when I need it and it sure does help all the time!  WE have had many laughs and made lots of memories in the past and I know that there are tons to come!

Here are some reasons that I love my aunt Trish:

Trish~ I hope you had a great bday!  You deserve the BEST! You are such a great role model to me! I hope between yours Traci’s gram’s and my mom’s examples I can be one HECK of an AMAZING person, role model and one day a half the wife and mother that you guys are.  You have always been a great example to me ever since I could say your name!  Thanks for changing my dipper when I was little, the sleepovers back then and even now, the shopping dates, lunch dates, white smiles after the checkups, the e-mails, the shoulder, the phone calls, letting me watch your kids, and being a role model for 19 great years!

A fishing we will go!

Last weekend Nate told me he had a surprise for me and we were going to go somewhere! So after work I went and got my hair cut and headed off to see him! I met him at loves and off to the lake we went! I had no idea what he had planned for me, but little did I know I was going to learn how to fish! I think I am the worse fisher in the world!  He tried to teach me but there was NO hope for me!  I felt bad for him but he was patient with me.  After no luck with fishing we went to Taco B, my favorite place in Burley! (He knows me well) Then we went to a movie!  The whole night was a lot of fun! It was just nice to hang out with just the two of us and have a lot of fun!! I wish I got pictures but it was a lot of fun.  I can't wait tell our next adventure! He sure does know how to make me laugh, smile, and be my best friend!  We sure do have a lot of fun memories

People keep asking so I will say….OK OK OK I will admit it I am pretty happy and spoiled!! A few weeks ago I got a facebook message from a friend that I haven't talked to for awhile! I was pretty excited to hear from him! I wrote back then after a few minutes I got a text from him and we started texting after that!  The week of the CSI rodeo he came down to meet me because we really haven't met before.  We sat and watched the rodeo together, talked and had a lot of fun!  During spring break he came out to see me and watch donkey basketball and met my family. After that it’s been a fairy tale come true!  He comes to Twin and sees me a lot! Last weekend I went to his house to meet his parents.  I won’t lie I was nervous but, they are way super nice and I love them! I have a lot of fun with him and he always knows how to put a smile on my face! I have to say I think he SPOILES ME ROTTEN!!   Nate is very nice and my family loves him and I always have a smile on my face when I am with him! We have great laughs, a lot of fun, and make some great memories!

Last night once again Nate came to see me in Twin so Tiff, Scherer, Nate, and I loaded up and went for Pizza at Gertie's! It was a lot of fun! Tiff and I had a much needed night out with the boys! We had great laughs and made great memories!  I have to say the boys are pretty weak and stopped eating after oh...3 pizzas! Yeah not Tiff and I we probably stopped after oh maybe...7! Yep what can we say? We love food!  So don’t challenge us at a pizza eating contest, because we sure can eat!

This year after volleyball and football season Sidney and Zach were both in basketball and did very well!  This year Jan Kidd made my family some shirts to wear at the games!  We wore them every game to show the kids that we sure do love them!  Almost every game I loaded up the car and met the family at the game and watched. These games become a BIG family function!   There were games where my family and I got pretty nervous and almost lost our voices!  One of those games was Oakley! It was a very close game and my brother did AMAZING! My family is BIG supporters and will go anywhere to watch!

The Utah girls are soccer freaks and Trev is a baseball freak!  We don’t get to go watch them a lot but we usually get a text from Chad or Traci to let us know how they are doing!   They are very good and I can’t wait to go watch!

Hagan is one heck of a cowboy and Hal is one heck of a cowgirl!!  It’s that time of year again! We load up and travel to the rodeos to watch him team rope and calf rope and Hal pole bend, and goats! They are both very good and we love to go and watch!

As you can see my cousins are BIG into sports and I love to go with the family and watch!  You ask some people and they say we are too loud! But to us were just a family who love to support each other!

Lately I have been really puppy hungry and really wanting a cute puppy!  Well my brother’s dog had puppies and there was one with my name written all over it!  I wanted it very bad but couldn't because I can't have dogs in my apartment.  So I went up to Mr. Scherer and showed him the picture of this really cute puppy and told him that I got it for him and her name was Mojo! He didn't believe me at all. Knowing he has a soft heart with a smile on my face I said PLEASE!! A week later Bentley came to Twin!  So Bentley is Mr. Scherer's dog but we get to take care of her when he is doing his rodeo thing.  We spoil her ROTTEN and love her lots! 

A few weekends ago Mr. Scherer had a rodeo here in town so we went and watched him with Bentley in hands! Mr. Scherer is a bull rider so Tiff and I were shacking and pretty nervous for him!  It was a lot of fun for us girls to get out and go watch someone is always there for us and would do anything for us!  Mr. Scherer is someone that we could all call our BIG brother! We sure do love him and don't know what we would do without him! He has been there for us when we really need him! 
A few things he is good for:
1) If you drop your necklace down the drain at midnight he comes over to get it out!
2) If you need a shoulder to cry on he is there!
3) If you need a laugh at 2 am he is the one to make you laugh!
4) If you need to have a chocolate fight he’s there!
5) If you need a brother he is there!
6) If you need someone to watch a movie with he’s there!
7) If you need someone to try the first bight of a piece of chicken because you dont know if it turne out, with a brave face he does it and doesn’t want to be mean so he won’t spit it out!
8) If  you need advice he's there!....
.....These are only a few of the things that he does for us but you get the point....
