7 peaks & Lehi Round Up

The day that Nate got here we loaded up the car and headed to a full day of 7 peaks! We love this place! It was good to finally see him and do something instead of dinner and a movie. I love going to dinner and a movie with him, but something new was nice.
We had a blast on all the slides! Nate decided to be brave and go on one of the steep ones he tried to get me to go with him, I love him and all but there was no way that he would drag me up that thing. Ha-ha I am a huge chicken when it comes to those things.  One of the slides that the whole crew went on was the half pipe. It was all but our turn and I hear “ KALLIE, KALLIE, KAALLLLIIIEEEE!!! Help me!” I looked in front of me and poor Tobbi passed out. She had us scared. I told the crew to go down and I would stay with her until she was able to walk and we would ride down.  Every girl dreams of a cute lifeguard helping them well, tobbi got just that! He gave her his water and talked to her and told her everything was just fine and she would be okay! After a few minutes a smile back on her face Tobbi and I headed down that huge half pipe slide! It was a lot of fun to tell you the truth. Tobbi and Traci ended up leaving early so the rest of us ( Willes, Tay, Trev, Nate, and I) stayed for a couple more hours of fun.
5:00 moved around we loaded up and headed home. Nate bought Tay, Nate, and I tickets for the BIG FAMOUS Lehi Round Up rodeo! Now that was a fun night! Nate laughed at us two while we tried on some pretty cute hats, he just wouldn’t give in and buy them for us! The rodeo was pretty fun, not that many rides but it was still a lot of fun! Before the barrel racing they had two guys ride their motorcycles and do tricks, that was very cool!  Going to rodeos always reminds me of the CSI rodeo where Nate and I met! I am so lucky to have met him and have him in my life! He has put up with h me a lot and is still around. As aunt Traci would say…” Not everyone can handle a Miss Skallie Jo” but Nate can, and I sure do love him for that!

You do NOTHING? ...I could NEVER live here.... "psych!"

A few weeks ago when I moved here to Utah Nate came with me and we had tons of fun! There was a moment that we were all sitting in the front room doing NOTHING at all! I thought it was nice, but Nate got bored! He asked the kids what they did in Lehi.  Their answer…”Nothing, your pretty much looking at it.  We do a lot of running with all our sport so when we don’t have games we come home and do NOTHING!!”    He replied with a simple,” WOW! I could never live here there is NOTHING to do.  I would get bored!”
A couple days after he left the Tay, Tobbi, Trev, Tyler, Traci, and of course I was already looking forward to the next Utah visit he would make to come and see us.  I couldn’t wait but then…A week later he text me and told me that he may be leaving to Texas in a few weeks to work.  He would be selling alarm systems and be home when he could.  TEXAS? REALLY? That was pretty hard to hear.  I thought to myself, he would be gone all summer and possibly miss me graduating from dental assisting school, and that would have been the HARD part.  I just smiles and said well, that will be good for ya.
Then what do ya know he will be moving here in a week! Yes NO TEXAS, he will be moving to UTAH!!! Before I move on let me say one thing he is not moving to Utah to be with me he is moving to Utah to work, and to see me more, just so the rumors don’t start.  My uncle Tony thinks he is one neat kid and a pretty hard worker, he could tell Big time that I like N ate more then the world! So he talked to me then Nate and now Nate is living and working for Tony at Ames!   He will only live about 20 minutes from me which is tons better then 3 hours.  When I got the call from Nate that he will be working down here I think I shed a tear and smiled more then I have smiled that whole week.  I have to say my mom is right, having Nate live 20 minutes away from me made this move to Utah a little bit easier on me!  I have to say I am more than excited for this and am so thankful!
Nate,
Thanks so much for all that you have done for me and all that you have gave me! Not every girl has a boyfriend that gives their girlfriend the WORLD…but I do! Thanks so much for traveling hours just to see me and make me smile! Thanks so much for taking off work just so you can spend an extra hour with me! Not everyone would do the things that you do for me! I sure do appreciate it all! I look forward to every date that we have and every day that I get to see you! I am so lucky that you came and sat by me at the CSI rodeo so you could finally meet me! I am one lucky girl to have a guy like you walk in my life! Loves!

to me hero...

Growing u we all have heroes in our lives.  Some may be a famous person others may be a sports star, we may also have more than one.  I have tons of heroes who have touched my life in one way or another.  My grandpa Hitt is one of my heroes who have been there for me every day of my life!  He was there at the Preston hospital the day I was born, he was there at my dance performances, he was there to cheer me on when I cheered at high school games, he was there to escort me on Senior night at my last high school performance as a cheerleader, he was there on graduation day, and I know he will be there many other days of my lives to cheer me on the best that he can!  Things that I remember growing up with my grandpa as my hero…
He has almost served 30 years at the Malta highway district, and I remember as a kid and even 2 weeks ago riding in the road grader and the water truck with him and helping in any way that I can!   My grandpa always has what people call “Grandpa Tom” mints in his pocket.  He never fails to have one during church, on a road trip or at home for a little sugar boost for not only us grandkids, but all the little kids that come and give a hug whenever they see him.
My grandpa has been there for me in every way that he can for the past 19 years for me and I am more then grateful for that.  He has always been there for me.  I hope that one day my kids can look up to him like I have.  Grandpa Tom thank you so much for being my hero, my grandpa, and someone that plays a role as my dad! Love you so much!

To those who have made a difference

I have been so blessed to have so many dads touch my life in so different many ways.

Chris Rodgers~
Your family became my second family and you became my second dad! I was pretty close to you guys and could ask you so much! I don’t know what I would have done without you in my life over those years.  You gave me so many blessings and touched my life in different ways.   Thanks for all that you have done for me! Happy dad’s day!
Lavell Erickson~

I don’t know anybody that isn’t my dad who calls and checks on me at least once a month to make sure I’m doing okay and make sure I’m not in any trouble at all.  Some people would get sick of the phone calls but to me they help me so much!   I have gone through some difficult times and knowing that somehow you find out what happened through the grape vine and give me a call to let me know that it will all turn out and be okay means so much to me!  I am so thankful for everything.  Thanks for being my second dad lately! I sure do appreciate it! Happy dad’s day!
Bill Poulton~
I have only known you for a couple of months, but you have already inspired me!  I sure do look forward making the drive over the mountain to see you guys!  I have to say you make the BEST late night chocolate milkshakes in the world!  I sure do love your family and look forward to many more visits to come!  Thanks for raising such an AMAZING kid, I am so lucky I have found him and have him in my life,  He has made such a difference in my life and has helped me in so many ways!  Thanks so much for everything, and also the phone call on Saturday it made my day!  I sure hope you had a great father’s day!

Scott~
You are one of the best uncles any niece could ever ask for!  I know I don’t show it a lot but I am more then grateful for everything that you have done for me in my life!   Thanks for helping me whenever I need something done in a fatherly way.  I sure do love you!  Happy dads’ day!

Chad~
Not every uncle will let their niece come live with them so they are able to live their dream and go to college! But, hey you do!  And I don’t know if I will ever thank you enough!  Thanks do much for everything that you have done for me it means the world! Love ya!
Happy dads’ day!

John~
John and I have had our moments more than once.  We have fought and we have become close.  But I have to say john has been one of the best step-dads that I could ever ask for.  He would always send hours with me during school with all my math homework.  I remember when he was trying to teach me algebra in like 5th grade, I had no idea what he was saying and wanted to quit and NEVER ask for help from him ever again, but yet I did.  He ws there for all my performances know matter if a cow was branding or the BIG game was on he was there.  He has always played a good father role and always makes sure that I have enough to get me through. Thanks for being there for me and being the best step-dad! Happy dads’ day!

I have no idea what I would have done with all of you guys in my life! You have all helped me believe in myself and help me come closer to making my dreams come true! Thank you all so much! I love you all!

the family that i love

For mother’s day all my aunt and uncles gave my grandma a gift certificate to get family pictures done of all 32 of us! Holy Coe! 32? Can it be done? After Trisha talking, pulling strings and loving all of us after the week was dine her friend from school took our family pictures! They turned out so AMAZING!  We had tons of laughs and made lots of memories.  I love my Hitt family and I really have no idea what we would do without each other!

Here are only a few pics from my camera the real deal is tons better! thanks jenny!

Here is to the night!

Nate always does something for me, so for once I wanted to do something for him! Everything that I planned never worked out! So I planned the same old movie and dinner! We went to a Mexican restraint in Burley and it was really good then we loaded up met my family and went to see a movie together! It was the last date before Utah! Even though we do it all the time, the food was great and the movie was good!  Times like this are time worth living! Thanks Nate

Here is to the future!

I have finally moved to Utah! I never thought I would ever be moving to Utah in my lifetime, but even though I have been here for like four days I love it!  I get the opportunity to live with my aunt Traci and her family.  It’s a lot of fun! This summer we are involved in a lot of trevs baseball games and Taylor Soccer practices! They sure keep me on my toes and I love the kids!

Nate came up with me on Friday and stayed tell Sunday, we had a lot of fun! We got here late Friday night after Nate got off work. I thought I would never get here to tell you the truth.  Then on Saturday Tay, Zan, tobbi, Nate and I went To Jack and Jill’s and went laser tagging. I never been, but honestly it was a lot of fun and I may go again.  We laughed a lot and made some great memories! After jack and Jill’s we loaded up went home and crashed for a whole fifteen minutes then headed to the double sided baseball games to watch Trev! That kid may be small, but dang is he AMAZING at baseball! Watch out MLB here he comes! :)
Nate headed home on Sunday afternoon, and yes I was pretty sad.  The whole family had bets how hard I would cry.  I had a few tears but not much! I will see him this weekend so that is a plus, after Sunday the tears will role on in! I have to say I have no idea what I will do when I won’t be able to see Nate and his family at least once a week.  I sure do like the kid and he spoils me ROTTEN!  Nate has always been there for me especially when I need him the most! He sure does put a smile on my face and a laugh following! Loves<3  knowing that Nate is behind me 100% in this move and he will come visit me makes it that much easier! I have to say I am one lucky girl to find one heck of an AMAZING guy!
My mom drove up on Sunday and we went to visit Provo College on Tuesday.  After the tour I did finally decide to study my dental assisting there! I am so excited to start! I will be able to graduate next August and look forward to FINALLY being a dental assistant and fulfilling my long term dream! I have had so much support, and want to thank EVERYONE that has helped me through the years! Love you all!
